Like thousands of founders, consultants, and developers, our team spent years using incumbent scheduling tools like Calendly and SavvyCal. Over time, we watched these platforms morph: free tiers were aggressively gutted, custom domains were locked behind five-figure enterprise contracts, and third-party advertising scripts were injected into public booking pages.
Even worse, existing tools that claimed to offer calendar overlays required guests to grant server-side access to their private appointments—exposing confidential calendar data, attendee lists, and client notes to external databases.
